Experience PacTec, FoodTec & PlastExpo Nordic

Professional events for the packaging, food, and plastics industries on March 15–16, 2028, at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Center. The event offers interesting seminars, presentations, and new products in the exhibition area.

The events are organised in cooperation with the Finnish Packaging Association, Finnish Food and Drink Industries’ Federation and the Finnish Plastics Association

PacTec, FoodTec & PlastExpo Nordic is free of charge for all professionals in the packaging, food and plastics sectors.

PacTec covers the entire packaging chain, from design and materials to production and marketing. The event highlights the importance of packaging as well as the latest possibilities and innovations in packaging technology.

FoodTec showcases everything needed for food production, from machinery and equipment to processes and systems.

PlastExpo Nordic is the meeting place for the plastics industry, featuring the latest products, machinery and equipment, as well as cutting-edge innovations. The event highlights the key role of plastics in packaging and construction materials, and explores its role within the circular economy.

After work

After work will be held at Paddington Pub in Helsinki Expo and Convention Center on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m. After work is open to everyone.

Sampsa Astala will entertain with his music starting at 4:30 p.m.

Sampsa Astala is a musician and producer from Karkkila, now based in Helsinki. He began his career as the drummer and backing vocalist for the band Lordi. Later, he became the frontman of Stala & So. and has pursued a solo career since 2016. Currently, Astala performs with his band Sampsa Astala and Qma, and he is also known as the lead singer of Mötikkä, a band that performs Finnish-language versions of Mötley Crüe songs.
